Noir

   

 My first entry I wanted to devote to the Japanese anime series “Noir” which is the last fantastic anime series I watched so far. This series follows the mysterious connection and history between two young assassins, Mireille Bouquet (it’s bouquet, not bucket, hehe) and Kirika Yumera. In 26 episodes we are treated to a slick treat of mystery, action and intrigue. With the exception of the annoying flashbacks, which serve to reveal the trauma at the core of the mystery of the two girls, this anime kicks arse and leaves one wistfully wanting more. The characters are well developed and multilayered and Kirika and Cloe are especially alluring. Definitely worth the watching, even if the flashbacks and lack of blood perturbs.
